Vijay Rai leads a wealthy lifestyle along with his dad, Ajay Kumar, who are now settled in scenic Simla. Since Vijay is 25 years old, his dad wants him to get married, but Vijay wants to find his own soul mate. He does find her in Bombay-based Anju, both meet and fall in love with each other. When Anju is informed that her dad is ill, she returns home, and leaves a note for Vijay to contact her there. Upon receiving her note, Vijay departs for Bombay and reaches Anju's residence. He is received by her dad, Dinanath, who informs him that Anju has been dead for over 3 years now

Sardar Joginder Singh alias Sardar Saab (Jackie Shroff) and his younger brother (Guggu Gill) act as messiahs for the people suppressed by the rich, wealthy and powerful. They do not shy away from taking law and order in their own hands. Due to the nature of their work, Sardar Saab sends his son (Daljeet Kalsi) to New Zealand, who meets Mehak Arora (Neetu Singh) and falls in love with her. Daljeet and Mehak want to get married to each other and their parents before the rituals take place. Once Daljeet reaches Delhi, Sardar Saab is arrested by the police and he gets killed in a bomb blast. How Daljeet avenges his killing forms the rest of the story.

Virendra is a spoiled young man newly enrolled in the Indian army. Major Jasbir Singh Rana, a tough disciplinarian, is in charge of transforming him into a brave soldier and a noble man.

Born and brought up in an orphanage, it has always been Rajoo's dream of becoming a wealthy man, particularly a Prince of any region. His dreams land him in trouble when he misbehaves with Rajkumari Poonam, and is expelled from the orphanage. He seeks works as a masseur and goes to work with Prince Pratap Singh, who hires him, is so happy with his work, that he would like him to impersonate him and thus fulfill his dream of becoming a Prince. The only problem is that he has to insult and humiliate Princess Poonam, the very woman with whom he had misbehaved, and has fallen head-over-heels in love with her. The question remains, will his love of becoming a Prince overcome his true love for Poonam? The song "Rajoo ka hai ek khwab, Rajoo raja raja saab, raaj hai na taaj hai, phir bhi main raaj saab" continues to be popular even today.
